Meals and Overheads

The shelter provides basic sustenance of mostly rice, soup (mixed with crumps of chicken/pork) and vegetables (mostly from their gardens) for breakfast and dinner. On weekends and school holidays, lunch will be provided.

Funds are allocated for food as priority and other variable cost are for personal and oral hygiene including but not limited toothpaste, sanitary pads etc.  Clothing is from donated sources.

Other overheads include maintenance cost eg. Sewage disposal, repairs and replacement of lights, equipment and tools.

Medical and dental expenses on ad hoc basis.
